zuggie Posted November 18, 2021 #1 Share Posted November 18, 2021 I'm thinking there's is a way to do this, but can't recall what it is.

Rare Ozark_Kid Posted November 18, 2021 #4 Share Posted November 18, 2021 Like @Biker19 said. I did it for the first time last month. If you have never used your sea card in the slots it can be a bit confusing. At least it was for me. The part I did not understand was when you do it you will be transferring money to a casino account that is separate from you regular cruise account. There was a limit transfer of $500. I had over $900 left in OBC. I later found that the limit was for each transfer. I first did the transfer but did not know it went to the casino account. I closed it out and did it again and this time opened up the casino account and there was $1,000 from the 2 transfers. I don’t think you have to but I did 1 spin then cashed out. If you transfer over more than your OBC the extra will be charged to the credit card but you will get it cash when you cash out.

I have never been charged a fee at the slots. If you do it at the casino cage it is a 5% fee.
ckmommy Posted November 18, 2021 #7 Share Posted November 18, 2021 Thank you! My parents have a large OBC so they will be able to use this to get some what is left of their OBC in cash. I'm sure we can have some fun playing the slots too!
ATG Posted November 18, 2021 #8 Share Posted November 18, 2021 I just did this on a Celebrity ship. I went to the casino service desk and asked how to charge slot machine gambling to my room. They called over a gentleman who sat with me and talked me through it. I set up $200, gambled about $3 and then cashed out. No questions when I took the slip to the window 5 minutes later. I did this periodically to use up all the OBC. No fees, no questions, no issues. 2

I did this on the Anthem last month. Never even gambled any, just cashed straight out and took the slip to the cashier’s window. As you say, no questions are asked at all. 1

Partially to “feel” better about it, but also to get small bills. I don’t use $100 bills often. Actually, I don’t use cash much. I used some for additional tips and deposited the rest when we got home.
