tiller Posted December 21, 2021 #1 Share Posted December 21, 2021 My mom and I are sailing on Apex next month in an IV cabin, and we have a few questions: 1. Does the bathroom have a retractable clothesline? 2. How dressy/not-dressy are Evening Chic nights? We tend to go dressier and wonder how common that is (not evening gowns, but dressy pants and tops). 3. Are the smoothies and juices at the Spa Cafe covered in the classic alcohol package? Thanks! jelayne Posted December 21, 2021 #4 Share Posted December 21, 2021 I don’t recall seeing a clothes line, Dressier pants and tops will not be out of place. You will see everything from a tux and gown ( rare) to sundress. Dressier pant and tops are great or a LBD are most common.
gaunerdog Posted December 21, 2021 #5 Share Posted December 21, 2021 There are a couple of hooks in the shower. Yes, you do see all kinds of dress. Dressier jeans are allowed in the dining areas. There will be at last 2 nights that request more formal type wear but on our Apex cruise we saw only a few tux or gowns.
Denny01 Posted December 21, 2021 #6 Share Posted December 21, 2021 (edited) Shower doesn’t have a clothes line wife wears what I call ‘Chicos Chic’ and I wear a sports coat/blazer and bow tie. no, they aren’t covered. And not sure if you pay the difference, but I don’t think so. enjoy. We love Apex. Try all 4 MDRs! And they have the Eden Cafe for breakfast and lunch that is similar (better) than the Spa Cafe in my opinion. den Edited December 21, 2021 by Denny01
tiller Posted December 22, 2021 Author #7 Share Posted December 22, 2021 Thank you! This is all very helpful. We do have a clothesline we can bring, but it's so much easier when there's already one there.
