Cruise4Jesus Posted December 24, 2021 #1 Share Posted December 24, 2021 I just have a simple question pertaining to the booking using the Cheers To You Offer (RU1) rate. Does this package allow you to get the juice or smoothie drinks available in the dining room at breakfast? Can you use for ice cream or shakes at the java blue shake spot? Are there any sugar free energy drinks offered? Any unusual items available with this package? Thanks in advance for any information.
firefly333 Posted December 24, 2021 #2 Share Posted December 24, 2021 (edited) You can get milkshakes. I didnt try and buy juice. You can get limited energy drinks and such. Gator aide was only orange flavor on my cruise for instance. I think it was good on all drinks, but I'm not sure what juice you are referring to? Canned? I dont think carnival does fresh squeezed. I see you are in texas, so you probably know but out of Galveston it's not good until 6 am day 2. Unlike rcl who pays the texas taxes and it's good at boarding. PekingeseLady Posted December 24, 2021 #3 Share Posted December 24, 2021 It does not cover the fresh juice sold at seaday brunch in the mdr. And it does not include the fresh squeezed juice in the Havana bar.

Rare MisterOJ2 Posted December 24, 2021 #5 Share Posted December 24, 2021 Also, it's just Cheers. There's no difference between the people using the RU1 rate and the people paying full price for Cheers.

The fresh squeezed juices are considered a food item not a beverage so not covered with cheers. Same goes for protein shakes.
SNJCruisers Posted December 26, 2021 #8 Share Posted December 26, 2021 The only fresh juices included with Cheers are any non alcoholic or alcoholic juices made and muddled at the Alchemy Bar.
Clarasgrandma Posted December 26, 2021 #9 Share Posted December 26, 2021 Also, the “Naked” bottled juices at the Java Blue are NOT included. Sadly.

To clarify that last question, YES you can get shakes at JavaBlue, but not ice cream. You can also get "spiked" milkshakes there, but they count against the 15 drink limit. Californian Posted April 23, 2022 #12 Share Posted April 23, 2022 What is the lowest RU1 rate that you have been offered? I got one that averaged $30 a day. Is that the best offer and I should jump on it or is it best to wait?

I booked wife in an upper/lower solo for last Dec. at $15/day and that was a RU2 offer. Don't know if your offer at $30/day is for 1 or 2 guests? Californian Posted April 23, 2022 #15 Share Posted April 23, 2022 Yes. The price was $30/day for two for a 4 day cruise. So, I should be looking for $20/day for two and $15/day if going solo?

The price is going up soon and I'd be shocked if you ever get a better Cheers offer. That is the offer their marketing dept. gave you and it has an expiration date. Don't know how you expect to shop around for a better offer?
