"Ocean View Panoramic Suite" on Mariner

Is this an actual suite or just a really, really large oceanview?

It does not include suite benefits, but does have a separate bedroom, separate  room with bunk beds, a sitting area and bathroom between the bedrooms.  YouTube has some videos that will show you much easier than an explanation here will.

According to this, it does include suite benefits.

Unless things have changed and the site hasn't been updated.

If it's a VP  1804 or 1854 on Mariner  yes it's an actual suite with full suite perks and double points  I have stayed in one and have a couple booked for next year on Mariner

Good to know. We stayed in one on Adventure of the Seas in 2019, but didn’t get any suite benefits (or were unaware that we should have). We got it through RoyalUp, so maybe that was why.

Hmmm... sorry to hear that.

I'm pretty sure you are supposed to get all the suite benefits when you Royal Up.

The only thing you wouldn't get are the double-points (if your original stateroom wasn't a suite.)

We're booked in an OV Panoramic Suite in 2022... hopefully suite benefits remain.

If it was 1804 or 1854 you should have received suite perks even with Royal Up.  There are also panoramic Ocean View cabins on those ships that sometimes get confused with the Panoramic suites

That may be what we had. Either way, it was by far the largest cabin we have had on a cruise and worth the $ 35 bid from an inside cabin.

Just got an upgrade on Mariner of the Seas for 2/12, to Cabin 1866 (Deck 12) Category 1L  Spacious Panoramic Oceanview-  Is that classified as a Suite Class Cabin?  Got it for $100. for a 5 night cruise..

No, the only two suites are 1804 an 1854

We did Adventure in 1854. Full benefits.

December 2019. Not sure when it changed

1804 and 1854 are rather unique.
They were originally a family panoramic ocean view - not a suite.
They were later changed to the Panoramic Suite with the same perks as a Junior Suite and subsequently upped to full suite benefits.
Oddly, the grats are still charged at $14.50 like a JS and you can still book with a refundable deposit unlike full suites.

The only suite “downside” is that they don’t have a fancy bathroom with a tub - just the tube shower like non suite cabins.

On our upcoming Navigator sailing we were charged the suite rate of $17.50 for room 1854.

The one I was in last Sept was $14.50 but I booked it a year ago. I guess they wised up and changed it.
