Also when Celebrity says 2 days before the cruise that means we could do the at home telemed test at 8 or 9 and have afternoon apts with walgreens and cancel those if all goes well, correct? My wife has this fear that they mean exactly 48 hours:) The website says 2 days before so the above is my plan.

It is two days, one day or the day of embarkation. Your choice. Forget about counting hours.

I think having crew serve the food is still best.

Probably jumped the gun on this one. I’ll wait to see what type of relaxation X might make on what I view as important safety protocols. The issue is our cruise is 1/24 and it doesn’t leave much time to decide. 

The cdc actually announced in October that the cap protocols would expire and become voluntary on January 15.
