Rare mauibabes Posted February 12, 2022 #27 Share Posted February 12, 2022 Jonthomas, We bought at 19 and then again at 10 and consider this nominal investment to be nothing more than a way to get a great ROI thru the SBC alone. We have already sailed twice at $250 per and in a few weeks sail with $100 SBC. Have 4 O cruises booked for 80+ days so 💵💰SBC. B Sure there is a downside, NCLH could crash and burn but I think we have weathered that storm. We have watched in the past months where it topped $34 a share so is it a good time to buy, you pick the reason to buy your hundred shares but it was a great decision for us and our group of Oceania traveling friends and is paying wonderful SBC dividends 🤪👍🛳 I can say when I broached the subject of purchasing NCLH stock almost two years ago now, I took a lot of heat on this CC Board but No one is suggesting putting their life savings in NCLH. Let me see, a Starbucks Latte a day, how long before I have spent that $$? Buy the stock and don’t look back and enjoy the SBC. Mauibabes
MEFIowa Posted February 12, 2022 #28 Share Posted February 12, 2022 On 2/11/2022 at 9:28 AM, njhorseman said: As what you quoted says, the subsidiaries that own the ships that are pledged as collateral . It's NCLC, not NCLH, that's borrowing the money, so it will be NCL ships securing the notes. NCLC is the parent of the NCL ships, not Oceania or Regent Seven Seas ships . So what "subsidiaries" does NCLC have? NCLH has subsidiaries, including NCLC.

Most if not all of NCLH's ships are each owned by individual subsidiaries . Although not an organization chart this document from the SEC archives lists all of NCLH's subsidiaries, many of which are the subsidiaries owning the individual ships, In some cases the ships are not part of the subsidiary name because the subsidiary was incorporated prior to the actual build and naming. Examples include Breakaway One, Two, Three and Four and Leonardo One, Two, Three, Four, Five and Six, each of which is the ownership vehicle for a current or future NCL ship. https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1513761/000155837021001998/nclh-20201231xex21d1.htm
