Aw was hoping Horizon was going to since we sail on the 22nd. So disappointing.

NVM my tired eyes at night... my friend just pointed out to me that was March not May dates LOL So we may still have a chance!

Hi. I was heartened to read that Grand Cayman was opening up again. I was scheduled to dock on 30th March on Marella Explorer 2.

I was looking forward to a nice beach day but my hopes were dashed when I received notification of cancellation of the port. We'll now be staying for an overnight in Montego Bay.

Do you think there's still a chance or is it a definite no once they advise so?

Cheers,

Kernel

Plan excursions for Montego Bay.  You’re not going to Cayman.

Cayman Islands have now released the entry requirements for cruise ship guests: https://www.exploregov.ky/reopening-plan

  • Any person disembarking must have completed an approved vaccine course at least 14 days prior to embarking the cruise ship. This also applies for captains and crew members.
  • Unvaccinated children under the age of 12 years can only disembark when accompanied by a fully vaccinated adult.
  • Any person who tests positive for the virus or shows any symptoms of the virus is not permitted to disembark.
  • While disembarked, all passengers must comply with local regulations.
  • Prior to arrival, a Customs and Border Control officer shall be provided with a list of the vaccination status in relation to each passenger and crew member.

In short, no tests needed for fully vaccinated guests.
