Checked Offers - yeah!

In past I never kept an eye on my Offers as they never seemed very eventful. Then I read on CC about people getting Casino Offers for no apparent reason. Well I never did get that Offer but there was an Offer sitting there which was great. So now cruising in 12 days out of Tampa. We are in the stage of life when we can hop on a deal so are very excited. Not that you want to be in our stage of life - yikes. But anyway all this to say I will keep an eye on my Offers from here on.

Congratulations on getting a great offer!  That's nice that you have a flexible schedule.  We do too, but don't live in Florida, so it's not as easy for us to jump on last minute deals.  We did have a great deal on our Mardi Gras cruise last week.  The cabin was only $38, plus port fees, gratuities, and taxes.  One heck of a deal and an awesome cruise.

I hope you have a wonderful cruise!

They resent me a offer but still get "oh snap" when I tried to book something right now for the Mrs. and my daughters birthday. Very strange.

I had a hard time looking up my free cabin specials for awhile.  It kept taking me to a page that did not show the cruises.  I waited a few days and now I can see everything.

Did you switch from an Early Saver rate to the Player Club Fun Match rate?

I have that offer too - about 400 less, but I was worried I would loose the

promotional OBC switching rate codes.

Did you keep your promotional OBC?

For us it was a new booking, have never been offered the Player Club Fun Match, forget what the “code” was, worked out to be $700 in total for balcony for seven nights, no OBC.

Received another today and still showing "oh snap" with no sailings available. I do have one already booked with that rate code though, maybe that's the problem. The other casino offer I had disappeared after using another code too. It's like they're teasing me. "It's back! Check out these deals! Sike, just kidding" 🤬 😆.

I haven't sailed in years and randomly checked a few weeks ago. I kid you not, I had 26 offers! 18 of them Casino and I've only gambled a hand full of times on slots on 2 past cruises. We have 2 cruises booked now and it's so hard not to keep booking... the deals go in to 2024 lol.

Have a fun cruise!

where do I find offers? is it the daily deals tab on my home page?

While logged into my account, I click on the "plan" tab on Carnival.com, then click on "Cruise deals" and then under "Unlock Big Savings" there is my VIFP # and I click on "Show My Deals"

Thanks for this reminder - just scored a great deal for the Jubilee for DEC 2023!  Not a casino rate, since I don't get those, but still great IMO for an aft balcony.  PVP said it was a "fantastic deal"!  I'm very pleased with it, so I guess that's what counts.  Thanks again!  It really does pay to watch your offers.

Another "deal" showed up today, Carnival's 50th Anniversary Celebraton, priced out the TA on Carnival Pride from Rome to Tampa October 2023 that we had already booked and that price went from about $2,900 to $1,600, really pleased.

That one was is good but don't miss out on the 72 Hour Birthday Extravaganza, that was is giving much better deals than the 50th Anniversary Celebration. Two different offers. Been a lot of great promos lately. I'm loving it!

Right. Just now I booked the Mardi Gras for Sept 2023 eight nights, great price. I asked my PVP about cancellations and what I would lose (seems so far away and not young but time flies) and she said Carnival is waiving cancellation fees right now as long as you rebook something else.

Sweet! New ships are always exciting. That's very smart of them and good to know. Thanks for that info. Seems logical, cancellations aren't in their best interest. Letting folks move their money around makes more sense and keeps it in their coffers vs hard-balling folks, angering your fans, making them cancel and creating resentment. Carnival has been very fair with cancellation thus far and when Mrs. Duffy offered cancellations for everyone who didn't like the covid protocols, it went a long way with me to have confidence in Carnival. It was a pain to deal with the phone waits but they came through as promised. I already booked nearly the same amount of cruises back that I cancelled. Hope they keep the deals coming. Got my eye on a few more lol. 🚢
