So I am still carrying my 600$ on board credit from canceled cruises. My son graduates college this December so we are going on the Mardi Gras the week of Christmas. I book dh and I yesterday total for balcony 2800~ With a 250$ deposit. Looked today saw this sale and with money I already had down from changing to this cruise my balance went down to 1250. Balcony  cabins were 697$ per person!!💃🏽May not

be the best sale ever but for me it was a win today!!

I did very well with it too.  I was working with my PVP and had a bowling alley extended balcony held yesterday to book today - was expecting to pay around $1600 for that one.  She called me back this morning and said there was a new sale and prices really dropped.  So I got an aft wrap Vista Suite for $1580 - less than I was expecting to pay for the extended balcony.

Went and checked after seeing this and now booked for a Nov 8 day again next year. Had booked this same cruise for a couple grand more previously. Very happy with the price and OK gambling on the deposit. Hope everything works out and things keep moving in the right direction for the industry. I actually booked a suite in family harbor to try it out. Might be a little tight but it looks spacious enough, I have been wanting to try a cove balcony, the large windows are nice and there was an actual benefit to having a family this time instead of the usual penalty lol. Those that cruise as a family should definitely look into these rates as the suite deals are pretty sweet if you roll as a family and take the kids with you. Plus it will be my oldest sons last time at the kids club as he will age out a few weeks after we get back. One last hurrah lol. Now I need to see who else I can convince to come. Thanks for bringing this up and mentioning this deal OP!

Received about 1/2 off cabin cost on a new booking, plus about 1/2 off cabin cost on an already booked cruise, both great rates with the promo. When I just tried to book another one, couldn't see this promo for any cruises. Is it limited to number of times used?

Ah that explains it. I put a hold on a cabin and wanted to price out jubilee b2b, same approx dates. The big price drops all disappeared.

Guess I will take what I got lol. My hold is on the Galveston partial Panama and I saw one port hole left deck 2 and 1 on deck 1...and put a hold on deck 2. .. now I cant see other prices lol.

I guess that's what I will book. I have vision booked march 2023 .. this is the jan 2024. Dont want both. Both are partial Panama. If can only use once then I couldnt have booked jubilee b2b. Cant see other cabin choices for the Panama either.

Should have read the whole thread lol. But those port holes are hard to get .. but it was the same dates jubilee would have worked. 2024 ...so far away to wait.

When I was looking at upgrading for the suite my PVP had already booked the Extended Balcony.   She told me that it could only be used once so to see those rates again I would need to sign in using my husbands VIFP number instead of mine.  That worked to let me see the rates so it may work if you have another person sailing with you that also has a number.

Cruise Critic strikes again (in a great way)!  Just booked a European cruise.  This was not even on the radar.  But when I saw this thread I checked out the longer cruises and saw truly half price specials.  Normally the sales are eh but not this time. ☺️

I am SO glad I read this thread because I got an email about it but disregarded it because I figured it was just the same old sale they've been having lately.  I just took advantage of this offer twice.  Used my husband's VIFP number to book a Havana aft balcony on the Vista for $1500.  But the best part was that I had my PVP get me a price reduction on my Excel aft suite on the Celebration next year.  I saved over $3500 on that one!  Even my PVP was in awe of how much I saved! 😀

Interesting how different Threads catch our eye!  I saw a Subject Line referencing “casino offers” so thought I would check my Offers and although no casino offer I had other great Offers sitting there. Saved $ on a booked cruise amd booked two other cruises at great prices.

This was such a great deal! So happy I jumped on early! Was able to get 2 Mardi Gras rooms (1 extended balcony & 1 inside) for  NYE for 2750$ and booked a 10 day Rome/Greece in 2023 with hubby's rate @$1499...too good to pass up! I'm glad you let me know we could only use 1 each, because I have been looking all day for another great offer!!! Happy Sailing Everyone!

Just booked an Extended Balcony on Mardi Gras next April for $1,271 total!  That is over $1,000 less than the cruise we originally had for next April (same cabin and ship, but week later).  I'm still in shock!

When I called carnival to change my code to the new one she was shocked as well, I still have my 600$ OBC from our cancel Mardi Gras from 2020 really looking forward to it.

I was able to use it for (3) future already booked cruises today.  What was interesting was that out of my myself and entire family - my offer had the most Months able to use while my family who spends more time in the casino were a bit more limited.

In the end, what had me most excited (aside from this incredible deal) was getting 1/2 off 2 of our future Celebration & Mardi Gras cruises in the Excel Aft Suite 🥳
