Transfer between piers at Port Everglades

In early February we got off the Regal Princess at birth 21 and took a shuttle to pier 2 to board the Sky Princess.  The shuttle went first to the berth 4 garage and dropped people off who were just picking up their cars then took us to pier 2 luggage drop off to board the Sky.  We had to be a bit assertive to get assigned to a shuttle, they were very busy.

For those just going to the parking lot, shuttles should be running throughout the disembarkation period.  The port has several vehicles but not all are wheelchair accessible,

For those joining the ship that is in the original spot, they should be disembarking near the end of the process when there are not as many people trying to get to the parking lot as they will not be able to board the new ship that early.

There will be a shuttle to bring you back to where you parked your car.  I had this happen on the 2/26 Regal sailing and Princess had a shuttle.

I actually dropped my bags off at Terminal 21 and then drove to Terminal 2 and parked.  Simply called an uber and took it back to terminal 21.  Made it nice and easy to walk over to the new parking garage when we docked at 2 and disembarked.

Better to park at your disembarkation garage and shuttle over to pier 2 for embarkation. If no shuttle you can grab a cab.

I can tell you there were absolutely no cabs available at Terminal 2 a week ago, it was strange.  With the parking garage in front of that terminal now being for the convention center only and having to park at the new garage at terminal 4, they have moved the drop off area for cabs.  We tried grabbing one and didn’t have any luck so just called an Uber which came quickly.

If you enter from SE 17th Street,  do you have to go through security to get to the new garage?

No, you still don’t  the entrance to the new garage is right after you make that left turn.  If dropping your bags off at terminal 2, they actually have a new ramp to bring you over to the new garage.

There is  nice air conditioned walkway over to terminal 2 on the 5th floor.  You can pay for the parking on the 5th floor or on 1.
