cruisewiththekids Posted March 12, 2022 #1 Share Posted March 12, 2022 I'm considering the Ovation of the Seas Honolulu to Vancouver next year, but wondering if there are Hawaii themed activities and/or menus during the cruise. I recall lei making and hula dancing and such when we did the Pride of America several years ago, so was wondering if other cruise lines that don't spend a lot of time in Hawaii do the same type things. Rare twangster Posted March 12, 2022 #2 Share Posted March 12, 2022 (edited) From Vancouver to Hawaii there was a speaker on board to talk about Hawaii and the culture of the islands. Unsure about Northbound since the destination is not Hawaii. Menus are standard fleet wide, they don't bring on local foods. For that you need a smaller boutique cruise line. Pride of America is unique since it never leaves Hawaii. Edited March 12, 2022 by twangster
Jimbo Posted March 12, 2022 #3 Share Posted March 12, 2022 You need to charter "Below Deck", to get local food. Get a brunch of friends together and go for it.
