Rare FlyerTalker Posted March 17, 2022 #2 Share Posted March 17, 2022 Have you considered calling them in Norway? Skype is your friend. Also, since you mention connection time, I hope you aren't trying to make a connection of two separate tickets at LGW. You would need to go through UK immigration and then a completely new check-in and security for the next flight.

Self-connections are always risky. I would want more than three hours for a self connection, especially coming off of an overnight flight. I am generally not comfortable doing a self-connection unless there are at least eight hours in between, if not an overnight. Because if you miss that next flight...you're SOL. They don't care why you didn't make it.

So far this year, FlightStats says it's running 50% on time, 33% late, and 17% very late. A flight that is only on-time 50% of the time, and is late 50% of the time, isn't one that's ideal for a self-connection in my mind. If you really wanted to be safe, I would book a night in London in between the flights...still cheaper than the YYZ-CPH price you quoted.

It should also be possible to book SAS non-stop from Toronto to Copenhagen this summer. First flight in June 2022. Ticket sales begin soon. I don't think anything is going to dissuade the OP. He's focused only on price, and sure this will work out. 2
