Quiet Beach in West Bay Area

Hi all,

We will be visiting Mahogany Bay (mom and daughter girl's trip) in early May and are looking for a nice beach and pool to relax at WITHOUT music! The ability to rent paddle boards/kayaks is a huge plus!  I've seen many reviews in favor of Infinity Bay but can't decide.  Is it too noisy? We would most likely use Victor Bodden Tours or Discover Roatan Tours. DO these tours allow us to stay as long as we want (obviously within the time restraints of the cruise stop) or is there a time limit? All inclusive is not required because we are not big drinkers!

Any comments or recommendations welcome!

Infinity Bay Pool area is nice and quiet and so is Paradise Beach. With Bodden and Discover Roatan both its up to you when you want to leave - no time limit - just be sure you allow enough time to get back to the ship.

On the tours where you pick the time to leave, everyone on the tour needs to agree on a time. We had a van with eight people and all wanted to stay as long as possible at the beach.

Have a time in mind when you'd like to leave, then when the driver asks you can be the first to propose a time and get others to agree.

This is why we required private transportation. I will report back in about two weeks how it went. We are at Infinity Bay for the day.

I've done Paradise Beach and was happy with that.  The pool was VERY quiet and shaded, isolated from the beach area.  I spent all my time in the water snorkeling.  Excellent reef snorkeling from the beach (I have my own gear).

I don't bother with taking a tour... I just need transportation to/from the beach, and I don't need a tour guide to do that.
