We’re currently on the Encore, and there’s a Venture expedition sales  representative aboard. He advised us that the Venture is still in  Genoa Italy, but sea trials are scheduled for next month, and a shakedown cruise is set to depart London on July 5.

I think that tracking report is likely just incorrect. Here's another site which shows the Venture stationary in Genoa, Italy, where is probably should be.

I was quite shocked to see the Venture off the coast of Guyana but think this is some sort of 'false flag' operation.  It's still in Genoa.

In August 2021 Venture moved from Mariotti's drydock in Genoa over to their outfitting dock where it will stay until the finished ship is delivered. I have not even heard about any sea trials yet so there is no way it has left Genoa. I'm sure we'll hear when the completed ship is delivered.

Looks like the Venture has finally left the building.  Doing preliminary sea trials in the Gulf of Genoa.

I know that Venture is (finally) on sea trials. However, I am wondering about how long sea trials last and how likely it is that Venture will actually make her maiden voyage scheduled for July.  Does anyone have an idea of how long the process normally takes from sea trial to actual cruise with passengers?

Seatrade Cruise Global wrapping up today in Miami.   When asked if Venture will be ready for its maiden voyage, could not get a yes or no.  That makes sense given the ship is still being tested.
