At what age can you drink on Alaska cruise

If we book a cruise in Alaska will 21 be the age to drink or is it 18 as it is in the UK?

Alaska is in the United States.  I would have thought it highly unlikely that it would be 18.  I can't think of a good reason why it might be.

The legal drinking age depends on which state one is in and sometimes depending if one is with family or not.  I believe AK is 21.

Yes the legal age for drinking in the US is 21, it was 18 when I was young.  I viewed it more as a guideline or recommendation than a law.

Exactly, it has nothing to do with where the ship is.... country or state, it's Silversea's stated onboard policy.  Here is an extract from the Silversea website...

Oh yeah, there is no mechanism to 'permit' a parent or guardian to allow an underage person to purchase or consume alcoholic beverages.

If you get cut off on a luxury cruise line you seriously need to get some help.

I agree but don't really see why you've identified luxury cruise line though.

Its the only kind I've cruised on.  Younger group on some of the ships with larger attendance might be more likely there.
