CampNCruise74 Posted March 29, 2022 #1 Share Posted March 29, 2022 Hello, I am there on April 3 with 4 other boats. I have never seen a boat leave that early at 2PM. Is this true? 4 of the 5 boats say we all get in at 7:00 AM which I know isn't true. We are just hoping to enjoy Margaritaville for a a while before having to leave at almost midday. Thanks,
shipgeeks Posted March 29, 2022 #2 Share Posted March 29, 2022 (edited) I recently read a post by a couple who didn't notice their all aboard time; it was 1:30 and they missed the ship. So there are some early departures. Edited March 29, 2022 by shipgeeks wording
Yinster Posted March 30, 2022 #3 Share Posted March 30, 2022 We were on the cruise when the couple missed the port. NCL getaway on board time was 13:00. They assume it was later. Their names were called several times. They missed the boat. Not that they missed much as we missed Norfolk and had choppy waters till NYC
dexddd Posted March 30, 2022 #4 Share Posted March 30, 2022 While it has been awhile, September, but at that time on two trips, most of the bars including that one were closed and did not look active. All other places were open.

Most of it is still boarded up (Hard Rock, Starbucks, etc)
CampNCruise74 Posted March 30, 2022 Author #6 Share Posted March 30, 2022 My kids loved the lazy river at Margaritaville in February, just hope they have enough time to enjoy it. I usually make a long walk to Bahamian Rum Cake factory and stock up for family and friends, but not this time.
Frode Posted March 30, 2022 #7 Share Posted March 30, 2022 Those are the 5 ships that will visit Nassau April 3rd, and MSC Seashore will be there between 07:00 - 14:00 hrs (ie 7 AM - 2 PM) 🤓

Heck, is the harbor Master even awake at 7:00 a.m to receive ships? I figure it takes a solid 30-40 minutes for any ship to get parked, once it crosses the mouth of the Bay. Addng to the complexity of getting four of them parked at 7:00 a.m.. I'll report back into this forum on Sunday for all to know.
shipgeeks Posted March 31, 2022 #9 Share Posted March 31, 2022 It's 6am on Friday. The first of six ships due in Nassau today is on her way in. Not unusual to start arriving in the dark.

shipgeeks Posted March 31, 2022 #11 Share Posted March 31, 2022 Oops, you are right! It's Thursday here and in Nassau. Being retired is weird sometimes.

CampNCruise74 Posted April 10, 2022 Author #14 Share Posted April 10, 2022 Nassau is changing. The port is being revamped and my kids loved the new Margaritaville water park. Round and round on the lazy river! True to form we did leave at 2 pm though.
hamrag Posted April 10, 2022 #15 Share Posted April 10, 2022 Believe me when I say a stop in Nassau until 2pm is far too late for said port. We will never leave the ship if we ever have the misfortune to have it again on our itinerary! 😉
