Which itinerary to pick?

Trying to decide between August 27 and September 7 itinerary on Holland for 2 senior citizens.  Portland, Maine vs. Bar harbor? Charlottetown and Saguenay vs. Saint Anthony and Havre Saint Pierre? 
 

anybody have a preference?

Portland is a city, Bar Harbor is a park with a tiny town.  Personally, I love Portland and don't get the appeal of Bar Harbor.  But many people do enjoy both.

It's also a tender port which can be iffy with the weather.

gikdrdogs, You might also find it useful to scan through this section of CC, for posts that ask about the potential ports you are considering.  I know there have been discussions of Portland and Bar Harbor over the past few years; there might be posts on the other ports, as well.

Do ships miss it? We stopped there 5 times and never had problems. Weather of course can vary. Cold, rain, fog etc.

Well, we missed it on Celebrity when we cruised a couple of years ago.  They said the seas were too bad to tender.  Interestingly, Marine Traffic showed an NCL ship in the harbor on the day we missed.
