Shopping within walking distance?

My husband and I love to walk.  What kinds of things are available within walking distance of the port?  Would Aruba be a good stop for this?

You will be docking right downtown.

Plenty of shopping, even quite a bit in the terminal building, if you are looking for the typical tourist stuff.

Just in Aruba off RCI Explorer....There used to be shopping in the port terminal...nothing now or at least the one we docked at. Plenty of shopping in town which you can see from the ship...so pretty close.

Depends on which pier you are on. Only one ship can dock at main pier. Second ships dock at wharf area next door. Main pier still has shopping .
