Hotels near Port Canaveral

Where would you recommend staying before a cruise out of Port Canaveral?  There will be 6, possibly 8 of us, and it would be 3 rooms. 6 of us will be flying from Arizona 1 or 2 days before the cruise. The other 2 would be coming from South Carolina (likely driving).

Several Hilton brands (Hampton Inn, Homewood Suites, etc.) near the port to choose from - among many others.  Budget per room and dates would help the suggestions to be closer to your target.

The closet hotels to the port (less than a mile) listed in the order of my preference:

*Hampton Inn Cruise Port 

*Homewood Suites 

*Springhill Suites

*Residence Inn

*Country Inn & Suites

There are 6 of us and we booked two rooms at the Home2Suites. Got a great rate but I booked about a year ago for our pre-cruise there in a little over a week.

Yes!!!  I forget the Home2Suites is actually attached to the Hampton Inn Cruise Port.  We love that place!!!
