Move Up offer made...now a price drop...

We got an email for a move up offer ( more than 60 days out from the cruise) and made a bid. Now there is a $300 price drop for the original cabin. If we use the Best Price Guarantee does that null the move up bid? I am confused as to why a move up offer would be sent so early...

 

Any experience or information about this?

Hello from another person who lives in SC(Greenville).  I see you are on a Bermuda cruise.  We are too, only in July.  Would you be willing to share what category you are in and what offers you were sent?  I do not know the answer to your question but I hope someone comes along that does.  My opinion is that it does not null the move up bid.  Remember, when you go in for the Best Price Guarantee the offer must be exactly the same.  Good luck.

No it will not invalidate your bid.   You can modify or cancel your bit if you would like.

The move up bid is not related to your current price and any best price adjustments.

Did you check the prices of higher categories? Might be worth it to book a balcony now. Concierge is not worth more than a balcony IMO.
