Ljunggren Posted April 21, 2022 #1 Share Posted April 21, 2022 On my west Mediterrianian on the Epic May 15, it says in my app that Moderno is 0 dollars and Compimentlary. Is this correct?
Rare KeithJenner Posted April 21, 2022 #2 Share Posted April 21, 2022 No, certainly still chargeable. Are you booking it and have the dining package? It will show as being zero in that case.
Ljunggren Posted April 21, 2022 Author #3 Share Posted April 21, 2022 But the Cagney also would show as Complientary? Now it shows as a la carte

Now it shows as a la carte This would likely be because Cagney, Le Bistro, etc. are a la carte, charged by the item if not purchased in a plan, whereas Moderno is a flat fee. And as far as the $0, was some specialty dining included as one of your perks for booking?

The a la carte places always say that, but if you are booking Moderno (or Teppanyaki) then they show the price that you have to pay when booking (i.e. $0 if you have dining credits or the actual cost if you don’t). Hearthosesteeldrumsplayin Posted April 21, 2022 #7 Share Posted April 21, 2022 I tried to book Moderno on our upcoming Pearl cruise. It said $0, but would not let me book it. Later, it showed up with a dollar amount associated. I have Moderno as a Lat rewards perk, so don't want to pay for it. Guess I'll wait for my Concierge to book it. trivimp Posted April 21, 2022 #8 Share Posted April 21, 2022 If you're making reservations online and you have a combination of Latitudes perks & Free at Sea dining, the trick is to book the fixed-price venues first (Moderno & Teppanyaki,) then book the remaining venues in a separate transaction. This has no bearing on how the meals will actually be charged once you're on board; it just gets around a website glitch. When you dine, let your server know which voucher you want to use for the meal. 1

Rare Sailing12Away Posted April 22, 2022 #11 Share Posted April 22, 2022 I just checked our options for our upcoming May trip, and both Moderno & Tepanyaki are now showing up as a charge of $58.80. Another price increase, or just a glitch in the matrix? Or since it says 'includes a 20% gratuity" it means it's already included in the price now up front?
