Note that Blerk's posting of the UTube was dated April 27, 2020....at the height of the pandemic. This very well could be fake news. BEWARE!

If there are more current news, I'd welcome to read it. But current links please.

You won't find more recent links, there is no current news.

"Fake news" is something reported that is simply not true, never was true.

In this case, at some point, it closed.  If anything, it might be "old news" if it has re-opened, but please don't use that pejorative term.

You are correct and I agree. A very bad choice of words. My bad.

I believe your only option for an actual beach club is Coral Beach, unless some new place opens between now and your cruise date.  Royal Palms, Tiki Beach and Calico Jacks have all closed permanently.

Some of the hotels might now offer day passes, since overall tourist occupancy is low.  You could try your favourite chain and see what they say.

There is also Public Beach (and a number of other less developed entry points) if you are willing to DIY, BYO and throw a towel on the sand.

Much beach/beach club discussion can be found here:

I agree for a beach club there is only the one option.  Calico Jack's is definitely closed, and the Kimpton hotel now own the land.  They are discussing with the government what to do with it - their ambitions don't line up with current regulations, as I understand it.  My guess is that there will nothing soon.

But if you want to walk into a bar and have a drink on the beach there is also Coccoloba by the Kimpton, just north of Public Beach.
