Free casino cruise final payment

Has anyone received a final payment notice after they booked a free casino offer?  I booked a 10 day New England cruise leaving August 31st and paid all the required charges back in August.  Today I received a notice for final payment of almost $3,000!  Been trying to get ahold of them, but cannot get thru yet.  One of the phone numbers i received is not their number anymore!  Does anyone know if this is normal procedure?

I had this happen on the Majestic back in October.   I called the Princess casino # 661-284-4414 and asked why this was happening.    They told me to ignore it.....then I got a cancellation notice for non-payment (then I was pissed).   Called they casino # again and they said some box wasn't checked properly on my reservation.   Not sure what the box was, but it took care of the problem.    Bottom line, you need to call 😞

The casino doesn’t pay their portion until 30 to 60 days out and everyone gets these reminders.  I had an issue with our first booking which they cancelled but I caught it immediately and had it reinstated.  You can call them I use 1 888 772-6697 and ask them to protect your booking, all mine now have this designation and I have been assured it won’t happen again.

I have also called a few days before final payment to confirm payment has been made and so far no further issues.

You dont need to call….it will only tie up the lines for everyone else. Your cruise is paid for, at least on paper. You have nothing to worry about. I received the same email for my comped cruise in February.

I spoke with Casino dept last week & was told their paying Their portion about 2 weeks before

your cruise. Kinda cutting it close IMO.

I've had 1 cruise cancelled on me, when I noticed it missing from my online Personalizer.

If you ever see your cruise missing?  Call casino dept so they can reinstate it.

Otherwise I try Not to let the Final notice bother me.

Reminder,  theres a Cruise Casinos board, if you scroll down on home page.

Agree with all that say "Casino will pay their portion". Self assurance when you can get one of the Casino folks (I love Connie) to protect all of your cruises. We will have done 14 this year and 10 have been Casino. I am not sure my TA is still talking with me. I do have a concern that I have been slightly afraid to ask about. I had 4 cruises out of Southampton booked, including EZ air. Two are Casino and two are through TA. Casino made me an offer for a cruise that fit in almost perfectly with the 4 but required changing EZair. When you use EZair with Casino cruise, you pay at the time of booking and by changing EZAir there became a price increase-Casino made the flight changes but has not billed me for additional fares. With Casino record of paying near sailing time, I am wondering if they will realize I need to pay more for my air fare? We will be gone on cruises for almost 2 months prior to the final cruise and would rather not hassle with trying to pay while away from my bank. Should be interesting:-)

So for those of you that this happened to, what happens to easy air flights?     We already had them ticket the flights and pay the airline, will these flights cancel if our cruise gets cancelled by accident?

I dunno, but this will get me to call the casino dept tomorrow and make sure all my cruises have the little box to protect my 4 cruises.   Too much of a hassle if it messes with the EZ Air.

BTW, I booked my EZ Air flights some time after I booked the casino free cruise offer.  I was not required to pay because I used the flexible ticket.

Yes, I had them ticket early to get my status perks with the airline and upgrade.  I will call them prior to final payment as well.
