Happily@Sea Posted May 29, 2022 #2 Share Posted May 29, 2022 Thanks, Kathi. Are you sure that was the Juneau weather forecast?? Sounds completely false. 😄
luvteaching Posted May 30, 2022 #3 Share Posted May 30, 2022 It's a beautiful morning in Juneau! Eurodam and Koningsdam are just off the extrance to Tracy Arm as I type this. Celebrity Solstice is following them and the Crown Princess is lagging quite far behind. Karen

Happily@Sea Posted May 30, 2022 #6 Share Posted May 30, 2022 Eurodam just north of Tracy Arm and moving at 19.km - maybe 45 minutes to an hour at this speed to be seen approaching the harbor. K'dam not far behind at this point.
Happily@Sea Posted May 30, 2022 #7 Share Posted May 30, 2022 Eurodam just entered Gastineau Channel. 25-30 minutes maybe. K'dam - maybe another hour.
Happily@Sea Posted May 30, 2022 #8 Share Posted May 30, 2022 (edited) K'dam is now right behind Eurodam. who is visible just outside the harbor basin. K'dam is much further back - with the latest map update. Edited May 30, 2022 by Happily@Sea

oaktreerb Posted May 30, 2022 #17 Share Posted May 30, 2022 Two ships from HAL fleet in the same screen shot. A lovely day for a cruise to Juneau. Two ships of another line in Icy Strait today, too, plus a Coast Guard ship.

Happily@Sea Posted May 30, 2022 #19 Share Posted May 30, 2022 Still 15 minutes before their official ETA. And they are both taking their time to dock correctly with the least amount of adjustments at the pier.
Happily@Sea Posted May 30, 2022 #20 Share Posted May 30, 2022 Let the other pax run to get off the ship, I'd be standing at the railing - watching all of this..

rkacruiser Posted May 30, 2022 #25 Share Posted May 30, 2022 I wonder if any of the cruise ships' guest will consider pausing for a few moments at the USS Juneau Memorial that is located along the cruise ship boardwalk on the Memorial Day.
