B to b covid testing

Recommended Posts

A question for anyone who has done a b to b recently

did you have to have a second test prior to the second cruise?

also has anyone changed ships on a b to b

we are thinking of doing an RCL for a week then an NCL for a second week

had anyone any experience of doing this recently?

we would be flying in from the UK

thanks

Rcl ships b2b no longer doing covid testing if you are vaccinated.  I cant say if they will test you to change to a ncl ship. I'd stick with b2b or s2s on the same cruiseline until covid pretesting goes away.

I've seen some carnival deals hard to resist but I didnt take the chance of mixing with rcl either. Not worth the risk.

I did 4 legs on grandeur, did the pretest to board first leg, but no test between the other 3 legs. Such a relief not to worry about testing between legs.

Thanks firefly333

just the sort of info I was looking for

will check out NCL protocols but we are looking at February so think we will hold off booking for a while.

RCC stil have mandatory testing prior to boarding for the UK departing cruises

I just did a B2B on the Enchantment, (May 19 and May 27 sailings) and we were required to take a COVID test on the last full day of the first cruise.

That may have something to do with the destination requirements of the second sailing.

True, we went to Bermuda so that's probably the reason.  There were only 2 guests in quarantine for COVID from the first cruise (and 11 crew members), according to the Hotel Manager at the Captain's Corner.

No one knows what (if any) testing protocols will be in place next February.

Currently on Harmony B2B...indeed no B2B testing.

However, as others have posted...we were on Mariner a couple of weeks ago,  with 2nd leg going to Bermuda (which we did not do).  Testing required by Bermuda for those pax.
