Shower Bench for inside cabins

My MIL will be on an upcoming cruise staying in a cabin by herself. Does anyone have any experience with what style of shower bench is available for cabins with the smaller showers like studios or inside cabins? How much space inside the shower does it take up? If anyone has a picture of the setup that would be great to see.

I believe there are only shower benches in HC cabins, and not in regular cabins? This is a photo of the shower in a HC cabin that we had on the Norwegian Jade. So maybe your MIL should ask NCL to change her cabin to an accessible inside cabin?

If you contact the special needs department for NCL, they may be able to provide your mother in law with a shower bench.

I agree with @TrumpyNor; we normally cruise Inside and we have never had a shower bench.   Try for an accessible.

Also note that if you have a non handicapped accessible room there is a small step up to get into the bathroom. It was mostly just a toe "buster" but could be an issue for someone with mobility issues.

It’s the way with every hotel I’ve stayed at.
