Decide my fate on Discovery!! Cabin S306 or C238.

Don't know which one to pick. Just want a quiet cabin with a great unobstructed view where I can see otters everyday.

I would go for C238. S306 looks really close to the bandstand, and I have no idea what noise you might hear in it. Plus, if you like looking at otters, they'll just be little specs that high up in the ship unless you have binoculars. You'll probably want binoculars no matter which cabin you choose, since otters are small. But you won't see them every day anyway.

Very true. I would be concerned about the hustle and bustle of the Sun deck.

Caribe is my favorite deck, because it is halfway between the upper public and lower public areas, so only a few flights of stairs in either direction to get where I want to go most of the time.  And I agree about better location for viewing wildlife.

We were assigned C735. Very far back. We are ok with that.

Thanks everyone for your help. After all that I saw 2 Aft cabins on Dolphin open up (probably a family who canceled) so for $36 more, I ended up going on Dolphin. One step closer to the critters.
