Thanks for the heads up.  To bad I booked a 30% off cruise for 8/27 or I would have chosen one of the free ones.  I have been playing Pop Slots for years and have accumulated over 4 million points.  I hope they have more for later in the year.

This is very intriguing to me. I don't have myVegas, but will look into it.  Does anyone know if you can use the discount with a military discount as well?

For the free cruises.... the cruise fare is free. There is nothing to discount. You still have to pay port fees/taxes and daily service charges.

Make sure you are playing ALL the myvegas games to get points. It’s not just pop slots.

You could cancel the cruise (must rebook) if you booked under the flexible cruising changes. You would have to cruise by end of March 2023 though.  https://www.msccruisesusa.com/flexible-booking-changes

This cruise is with my Sister so changing things gets complicated when you add more people.  So wont be able to change this cruise but I will be looking closer for other cruises for sure.

And we do play several of the games.  That is how I have over 4,000,000 reward coins.

I Was really surprised to see so many free MSC cruises added.  As mentioned you just pay port charges. I had also booked a 30% off cruise last week with my reward points.    I play MyVegas, my Vegas Facebook, pop, Konami, and MGM. I run them on auto spin.  All points sync into your rewards account.

Wow, thanks for this post! I have a bunch of points from years ago, but I’d completely forgotten about myVEGAS. Had no idea MSC was included.

All the rewards seem to be for cruises out of Florida. Do they ever offer discounts/free cruises for elsewhere?? Or onboard credit?

I've been looking at this as well and have a question. With the 30% discount I assume you can pick your room type (interior, balcony etc.) but if it is a free cruise do they give you an interior? Can you pay the difference to upgrade to a balcony or Yacht Club? I started saving points to do a RC Cruise but their points keep going up, MSC seems like a better deal.

I also just got a cruise through MyVegas for Sept. (only paying taxes and port fees, under $200, I believe)

I think you are assigned an interior room and pretty sure you can upgrade later. I'm not sure about the price difference. When I call to book the cruise and pay, I'll ask about upgrading at a later time and the prices

I got a large balcony when I got my free MSC cruise a couple of years ago.

oops, I didn't realize you didn't call yet. When you do, could you please let me know the process. Alot of us on the MV groups are hitting brick walls trying to book with our codes.

MSC only sails out of Miami and Port Canaveral (in the US) right now. Later they will be out of NYC. No, I haven’t seen them offer OBC.

The procedure for me was you fill out a form and then they call you after you have cashed in your loyal point offer and get that code. The instructions are pretty clear if you read them after cashing in your point. Unless you are running into another problem but I had a great Casino concierge call me. It was easy Peasy.

Make sure you are also playing myvegas blackjack and bingo or you’re losing out on loyalty points.

Good idea. I got a little confused on the bingo and the blackjack.

I got my August 21st, 7 night on Divina booked today from MyVEGAS! It cost me 1,000,000 coins, but I had over 3 million. I called once and the guy told me to email the info and he couldn’t do it. I hung up and called again and was able to book with a wonderful agent! Got me a premium balcony room, added a 3rd and 4th guest in my room (my kids) and they were free! Just port fees and taxes! So 4 people, balcony room, for less than $600! I call that a win!

So many people were having problems. What finallly worked for me this morning was to call the main number, select 2 for non member, skip the 6 options and wait for somebody to help. Took only a couple minutes. The man said, they were briefed last night on to the problem with this reward and the confusion. I have the same date/ship. First time on this line.

The instructions are pretty clear on the MSC free or 30% off cruises.  When applying your myvegas points. If you read the terms and conditions. It specifically tells you to fill out the form which I did with no issues at all. And it includes your identification number of your offer. I got my call immediately the next day and the guy I worked with was super. So why people are calling in the first place is kind of confusing to me they’re supposed to call you after you fill out the form which provides a lot of information for them plus what  cruise you’re interested in.  The Guy I worked with did say he worked for MSC casino concierge though.  .

Not the case with the free offer this time around,  terms and conditions were read and reread. Not my first rodeo with MV freebies.  Casino sent you to sales, sales tells you it's Casinos's responsibility. They take your phone number and tell you Casino will call back. Casino than says, forward the email with needed info to book cruise. That goes ignored. A few people called the main booking number and they had no problem doing it. I called the next morning on main number and the guy was more than happy to help. He asked my name, what my offer was, what cabin and all the important stuff. Than at the end, he asked for my code and boom, I'm done.  He did say, they had a big meeting/conversation the night before explaining to the workers how it was to be done this time.  So must have a change and than no communication. Still a few hitches, people are still having trouble, but I'm sure that will end as more and more of the workers realize what needs to be done.

Wow.  Thanks for this information I had no idea! When I booked my 30% off I got the MSC concierge‘s number as he was the guy who contacted me after I filled out the form. Believe me I will contact him if I get a free one instead and hopefully it will work out just as good. One thing he did tell me was to call the number and anyone would be able to help me after booking if I had any questions because he worked directly with MSC concierge and not myvegas.  Another thing he was not considered a travel agent or whatever that you have to keep working with.  Since you have done other my Vegas free or 30% off cruises how often do they offer the free ones? Has the 30% one around for a long time and do you think it will continue being around?  I definitely want to book some more!  Not sure how many can walk over what time period.

I just booked a free Seashore cruise for Aug. 8.   Was simple and easy by following the directions given in the award email.   Here was my experience with MSC:

  • Called number in email.
  • Pressed option 2 where I am not a MSC Voyager's club member.
  • Got a hold of a casino rep right away.
  • Casino rep had trouble with finding the MV award, so had me forward on the email to him.
  • From there, it was like booking any other cruise.

I figured that they were offering the most basic accommodations - Inside Bella, but no -- pleasantly surprised, got a Deluxe balcony Fantastica.

I've been playing MV apps for nearly a year hoping that they would pan out and pan out they did.   Royal Caribbean had some selections recently but 'sold out' before I could even look at them.   MSC has several selections right now.

Nice, so glad they fixed it. The morning after they fixed it, and it worked as you said. I'm the same way, got 2 free for Carnival and one for Royal in the past.
