so based on your few days of being on board how would you say things are going compared to earlier reviews as I hope the earlier reviews hasn't put a lot of people off and it was purely some issues with the ship having not sailed for a while?

I don’t see any difference between this and any other cruise I have taken on celebrity

my only complaint is the wifi which is very slow and clunky

Heard there are some cases of Covid and that guests are being allowed to stay in their cabins.  Wonder if the cabins will be totally disinfected after the cruise.  Any more info on this?

It's a safe bet to assume for every sailing, a small number both crew and passengers will:

- Test positive while on board

- Be positive but not test

- Test positive after the current sailing is over

Room charge at the casino and withdrawing it is the best way to spend it

If it's a refundable I would go for the Cash Out - on Silhouette only available the last day of cruise.   The main reason was I had a huge Agent credit and by cashing out I didn't get a 3X mileage deduction for the "return".

Certainly get some head-scratching questions for these live reports.  To them cleaning on board, why are they asking us?  Do they want us to go to the captain and have him PROMISE us that they will disinfect the ship after we get off?  lol

Have to agree with you.   When we were escorted off the ship with Covid they had a guy in front of us and in back of us in Hazmat suits spraying a fine mist.    I've seen them doing the same to rooms and hallways around the room after a passenger was escorted to isolation.

If really concerned we can also self sanitize touch surfaces in our room (especially the phone and remote) and hard surfaces.    We usually do that in Hotel, Airplanes and on the ship.

Yes.  We do that too. I always bring Lysol on board and spray surfaces and closets.  We have found some "oversights" in cabins over the years🤯.When cabin turnover has to be fast, it's almost understandable.  Also, there's different cleaning procedures for Covid...but sometimes the guest either doesn't know or isn't telling.  Oh well...we take our chances in this interesting time.

Cruised Infinity 9 / 16 , 4 people 2cabins , kept mask on at all times out of cabin , clean hands after sitting down right before eating , Lysol the room daily, and after room steward left , On Saturday the 16th woke up about about 5:30 am to get ready to disembark, one person in first cabin had slight sore throat, no other symptoms, other 3 people felt fine . As precaution  we brought at home Covid test , all 4 people tested positive, retested 1hour later just to be sure , Yes all positived, both couples tested negative one day before cruise , we drove to port ,we wore mask as we drove , live in Miami, 2 days later 3 people started showing signs slight fever , slight sore throat, all 3 very mild symptoms,  everyone both shots and booster, no one had caught Covid before cruise. Say what you may we feel we fought Covid on this cruise , Just be warned ,we wore mask when ever out of cabin , both wives sprayed cabin daily with Lysol (each brought 12cans Lysol each) LOL , All I can say is if you cruise play it safe pack meds and things you will need if you catch Covid , we were will prepared but didn’t need any of it on ship . Just telling what happened to us ,  Take Care

Glad you are enjoying your cruise....how are you settling in? Cabin to your liking? Overall are you finding the ship in good order?

Please also keep us posted on entertainment.

Have been in theater twice …. Tom Franek and the Edge Effect. Very good.  All the live music around the ship has been very enjoyable

We were aboard the week before you. I masked 3 weeks prior to the cruise to make sure I tested negative, wore my mask while traveling, in elevators and crowded areas. I brought Lysol wipes and single packed wipes for the airplane. We flew home and I woke up from a nap on the plane with a fever and feeling off. By the time we got home that night I was coughing, sneezing, congested and miserable and had tested positive on a rapid test that I carried along with me.  My parents thought I was ridiculous for bringing a thermometer, but I was able to take my temp fairly early on as well and I had cough medication and fever reducer available to me right away.  I traveled with my parents and they both ended up positive as well. When I walked off the ship on the morning of the 9th I felt fine, maybe a bit tired but we had just been on a cruise for a week and I had been up late the night before and we got up early so it wasn't alarming. I feel like the possibility of getting covid is just a part of traveling right now.

My cruise was July 9 through July 16 , no time travel there , we ate most times at restaurants , tried buffet 1time for breakfast, twice for dinner after getting back from excursions,  We knew the chance we were taking when we cruised and we accepted the chance, not complaining about catching Covid , we went with the mindset we probably would catch it ,and brought everything we would need , if we would have to go into lock down on the Ship , we were lucky that we really enjoyed our cruised and started felling bad late the last night of the cruise .Will we stop cruising No , just will always be prepared.
