Looking for a Beach or Snorkeling in Cozumel that is within walking distance

of the Carnival Cruise Port?

No beaches within walking distance other than small beaches at El Cid and Park Royal where you can also snorkel and need a day pass. Next door Del Mar has snorkeling but no beach and adult only, AI. Further towards town Sunset Beach (no beach), possibly Blue Angel, No Name Bar (no beach, 2 and half miles).

 

Nearest south would be Money Bar (no beach, taxi required).

As leg said, if you want to snorkel you'll probably have to catch a cab and go someplace. We really liked Sky Reef. It was a "different" type of snorkeling for us and it is LOADED with beautiful different colored sea fans. It was simply amazing. You can take a taxi (inexpensive) to a lot of great beaches. We went to Paradise Beach and loved it.

Money Bar is another option for good snorkeling from the shore - taxi will run about $12 each way and there is no admission fee.  They offer rental gear if needed as well good food and drinks.
