We took an earlier one back in February. This is the first time we got two free room offers in one year. 😀

I received that offer, too, but when I go to Carnival's site, it says there is nothing available. No destinations available, no dates available, etc.  Guess I'll have to phone to see if it's just a glitch for me or there were only a few cabins and they are gone already.

Mary, I gambled once. I get them daily.   I did not gamble a lot.   My Alaska cruise next month is basically free. 200 obc. 250 gambling, unlimited drinks everywhere. I don’t drink much though.

To be honest, we don't really gamble all that much.

Not sure what algorithms Carnival use to offer free rooms, but we used to get a free room every other year or so. This happens to be the first time we got two offers in one year.

I do gamble , not huge but significant.  I get them daily.  I’ve used 3 free this year. Got one today for Havana inside..   snapped that up!!

You can get the free interior offers pretty easily, really.  Just throw a few bucks in a slot machine to get the offers flowing.  Now the Big Cheese offers for balcony or even suites take a little more money spent, but I’ll take a free interior!

After 40 + Carnival cruises, and I've played the slots for at least an hour or two every night, I've only been offered a free balcony for sailings of 5 days or less.  I do get free interiors but I prefer balconies and longer cruises these days.

 

Surprisingly, I sailed Celebrity 3 times, gambled the same, and now have gotten 8 different week long infinite balconies on their newer ships comped free.  Haven't taken a Carnival offer since Celebrity began their freebies.....We're booked in the same infinite mid ship mid deck balcony cabin for an 8 day and 10 day sailing b2b later this month for taxes, port charges and tips!

I only gambled once, not a lot. I get balcony offers all the time. Even a cloud 9 suite.   Just a bad week to go

Nope! Nada. Been on several and gambled a couple hundred each time. Never one offer.

We usually get interior room offers, but the last few have been balconies.  We now have 10 'free' cruises booked including 31 days in Europe and a 10-day Alaska cruise in an extended balcony, $300 to spend in the casino, and all of this included:

 

Two of our last cruises booked included all of these offers, and last time I checked it will still let me book more with the same offer code.

I haven't taken a cruise since October of 2013 and they've been sending offers for a while and recently they started sending these 3 with 200 deposit but 200 obc so you get the cruise for the taxes and port fees. I had 1 interior offer, 1 oceanview offer and 1 balcony offer all like that. They said I could use each offer twice. So I booked 8 days on the Glory this November and 14 days on the Glory to the Panama canal for December 2023. 138 in taxes for the 8 day and 363 in taxes for the 14 day I think. Not bad. Still trying to talk myself down from booking a 14 day to Alaska with the same deal.

By a few dollars, do you literally mean <$5? I want these free inside offers but I HATE to gamble.

I so agree with your post !!  My wife plays a VERY little slot (I'd say 100$-200$), and tournaments using her card and that's about it.  She still gets free interior and 100$ Freeplay offers.  What we have found over the years is once in a while, she will also get free interior spa cabins and/or free interior havana offers.  Both those areas we LOVE very much.  No need to play big bucks.

I'm going on my first ('comped') Carnival cruise end next week which I received by matching my land-based casino status to the Carnival Players Club. In order to keep the cruise offers flowing (I don't seem to see any more emails from Carnival Players Club after I booked my cruise), what should I be looking to play per day and for how long? I generally play BJ / craps and avoid the slots..... Does the concept of ADT apply in the Carnival casino?

My husband and I played on various slot machines each day of our recent 5 day cruise to see if we could get any offers.  Nothing. Now we didn't play much at all, like $10 a day, but wanted to get our names in the system as someone that goes to the casino.  A couple of days we spent more since we'd win extra and then play it all.  

Do you get these in special emails from Carnival?  We get other special rate offers and reminders for upcoming cruises but not Casino Offers.  Maybe one day......

In 60 plus cruises where I always have a few dollars in the slots each night I have never received any offers free or cheap so perhaps again only USA cruisers are rewarded

Thanks for letting me know and being honest. There is no way I could spend that much money on the cruise on slots. If I start to lose $5, I already regret playing.

  We play for the comps !  we don't lose the $500. It is run thru the machines or across the tables.

Our bank roll is used just for play and never any thing else. All wins and loses are in it. We don't take any profit from it, remember we're playing for the comps.

I track all our play, at all casinos  land or sea. I have records from the past 3 years on every session played. This year alone we have taken 7 cruises on different lines, all comped. To date we are a little ahead on cruise ship play. Our land base play is much better and generates a lot of interest and offers from the sea.

One of the most important key things is good money management.

Lol, yeah, this might be low-balling a little.  I know I'm a big proponent of "not having to spend much to get casino offers".  But I wouldn't expect comped rooms for single digits.  😁

Yes I have heard that for Carnival table games you only gets comps if you have losses vs slots.

 

When you say $500 each a session is this like $500 a day for a 7 day cruise?
