Our cruise disembarks in Athens, Greece next year. The cruise company offers a multi day post cruise package that doesn’t quite fit the bill. We are interested in tour operators you would recommend to visit the highlights such as The Acropolis, the Plaka, Corinth, etc.

thanks for any help!

We had a fabulous trip overnight to  Meteora  and Delphi booked with .Athens Taxi tours Michael Sterianos.
We highly recommend his company for professional reasonable service,  extremely accommodating provided a great driver.

We were in Athens in April. we booked HP tours find them on trip advisor. They picked us up from the hotel, which I might add changed middle of the night, that's another story, anyway I sent an email at 2am to say we had changed hotels, and we were delighted when Frank arrived.

we did a half day 8.30am until about 2pm, he then took us to the ship.

We saw as many sights he could pack in, the tour doesn't include entry, but it's not hugely expensive for entrance. our luggage was safe as Frank stays with minibus. Cannot recommend highly enough, and they will do it the other way around, pick you up after you disembark.

We just returned from Athens to Barcelona cruise.  We stayed 2 days in Athens prior to boarding.  We booked an evening sunset  tour on Thursday and a full day on Friday visiting all the sites in Athens and then Corinth.  We used Michael's Amazing tours.  Our driver Panos was great giving us ample time at each location.  Check their website.  They have various tours to a lot of different places.  Each day they picked us (6) up at our VRBO and dropped us off.  They made sure we were aware of the places that could have potential for pick pockets and would let us know to take extra precautions.  We did not have any problems.  I would use this group again!

You might consider that touring downtown Athens (i.e. Acropolis, Acropolis Museum, Plaka, Syntagma Square) is not difficult to do on your own, especially if you enjoy walking.  All these places are within walking distance of each other.  You are also in the heart of Athens where there are many shops, cafes, etc.   Going outside of Athens to places like Corinth and Sounion is easiest down on some kind of day tour (you can find many options online).   One reason (out of many) that prefer to do our own thing is that we can go at our own pace.    Another popular option is to use a private guide from a site such as "Tours by Locals."   We find the downside to private guides is that we lose our privacy since we are sharing our day with a guide.  If you get a great guide this is not an issue, but there are times when it becomes a "stranger in our midsts).
