Someone called and asked if I was still nearing the noise. I said yes…and I hear dead people. They said they would check it out. He came by and verified the noise then left and said he would notify guest services. I stopped by guest services to see about that refundable OBC. They said I could only cash out $32 for some reason. Whatever I’ll take it.

Just my thoughts on self-disembark in NYC. We went for it, but had to lug our bags down from deck 7 to deck 3 - and when we got down to deck 4 there were people sitting on the steps. That's when DH lost it and said rather loudly, "there are people with bags coming down the steps. Get out of the way!" It might not have been as polite. 😉 The theater was pretty much everyone for themselves. However, we were off the ship by 7:15 and through Customs and in our car by 7:30.

The rattling in my ceiling is gone. It has stopped before but it always comes back. I’ll know in the morning if it’s fixed or not.
