NY Stay Pineapple hotel anyone stayed here before a cruise?

Travelling to Manhattan for cruise at end of September.  3 people, one being mom over age 80.  Wondering if anyone has recent experience with Stay Pineapple.  Do you think it is in a safe neighborhood?  General thoughts?

I have heard only good things about this hotel.It is 2 blocks from 34 St which is a very busy street .Always populated.

You might want to call the NYC Office Of Tourist Information .They should be very helpful.

The neighborhood is ok. If you weren’t with your 80 yo Mom I’d say walk to Hudson Yards and the High Line. It’s really not near anything when you walk out the door. If you’re just using it to stay one night before the cruise it should be fine.

Never stayed here, but it has good online reviews. I wonder if the husky comes with every room. Rooms will be small, but that's NYC. Neighborhood is fine. It depends what your pre-cruise plans are and if you need parking.

We always stay at michealanglo it’s at a great location and rooms are 400 sq Ft or larger.
