Searched as many different ways as I could think of but come up with nothing.

We are leaving out of Miami port but flying into FLL the day before. Hoping for a hotel with airport shuttle and transportation options to Miami.

Someone must have traveled this way previously, any recommendations would be great.

Thanks,

Mike

Have you tried the Florida Departures section of the North American Homeports section of Cruise Critic? Lots of talk of hotels & transportation options there. This board is more centered on what happens on the actual ship vs what happens before and/or after.

Check rates for the Riverside Hotel on Las Olas Blvd in downtown Fort Lauderdale. A great reasonably priced hotel close to a few great restaurants. Very close to FLL. As for transportation to the Port Of Miami it's going to cost you. Uber or Lyft will run about sixty dollars and a cab around seventy five plus tip. If you want to ride in style check rates for Larry's Limos. A highly recommended company used by many Cruise Critic posters.

We stay at Hyatt Place in Fort Lauderdale right next to the Harbor Shopping center. A Publix Market, shopping and restaurants. They offer a hotel shuttle from FLL to their hotel ($2-5 per room reservation) We then use a privately booked shuttle service to get to POM..many to choose from...SAS, Jiffy Jeff and South Florida Shuttles etc etc.

Check rates for Hyatt Place with Valuetrips a site used by many to book this particular hotel. Or book directly if a member of Hyatt.

We stayed at the Courtyard Dania. There was a free shuttle from the airport to the hotel. We arrived after a day of travel at 3:30. Relaxed a bit then walked through the parking lot to eat a sit down meal at the Bass Pro Shop restaurant…Islamorada, I think. After walking around the store (we don’t have one very close by at home) we walked back to the hotel and just chillaxed in our room. No one opted for the pool but there is one. Had a continental breakfast voucher with our room rate so had a quick bite, knowing we’d be eating well on the ship. Then used SAS transportation to take us to the Miami port. Used the same company to return to FLL a week later. Only suggestion I’d make is request a room away from the elevators and at the end of the hall.
