Hi cruisers,

We have been cruising a lot in the past year but are only starting an Enchanted Princess cruise in October.  Since last September we have been on Royal Caribbean, Norwegian, Azamara and Oceania  .Lately we have found ships are going out at about 70% of capacity.  Has that been the case with Princess cruises, too?

Thanks.

Thanks.  It must be what the CDC is requiring right now.

I believe the CDC isn't requiring anything from the cruise industry.  Each cruise line is able to make their own health protocols.  CDC is now only offering guidance to the industry but no more requirements.

From what I understand, is that capacity problems has been do to staffing.  The State Department has been slow walking work visas.

Just off the Emerald last week.

We were told there were 2666 passengers. Capacity ( I think this is double berth) is 3080, so that would be about 86%.

What were your impressions of the Emerald. We will be on her in January

This is my review from the cruise I got off last week.

The Emerald is going into dry dock this fall sometime for "sprucing up", so she should be in great shape for your January cruise!
