That is the cup that came with my Soda Package.  I have no idea about the DBP.

They are trying to use them or the Deluxe pkg also.  They are cheap 7-11 cups. When we were on Freedom last month, our bar guy went and found us 2 of the good cups instead.

There are metal bottles that have been give away items but we have never received a metal cup from the soda package.  We have been getting the soda package since they first introduced it and then switched to the refreshment package many years ago.

We received a metal cup last June. We didn’t even use it and I’ve throw so many of the plastic ones away or just leave them in the room if  unopened as we never use them. Guess I just don’t see what it matters. Can get a soda in a can at almost any bar and don’t need it for alcohol drinks

So basically at a freestyle machine you can only use the thermos? So if you do not want to have the thermos around and want a soda then you will need to go to a bar to get soda?

No matter what cup they provide you with on the ship, you have to use it because it has a chip on the bottom of it that allows you to use the freestyle machines. Without the provided cup, the machine won’t work.

They don't hold anything cold!  I only use them to get my soda in the morning anyway, but use the nice cups at home all the time for water.  So love the regular cups.  If we get the cheap ones, we don't even take them as we would leave them behind.

Correct.  I know Voyager does not have the Freestyle machines, so all soda has to be obtained at bars/restaurants and you don't need the cup for that.

When are you going?  My wife and I will be on Liberty of the Seas on 10/9.  It will be our 3rd cruise on her but first without kids.

we are cruising on 10/9 as well. not my first cruise but going with my sister and it will be her first.
