Mariner Terminal 5 question

We will be boarding Mariner on Sunday and it looks as if Florida is going to be covered in rain (all subject to change, of course).  Assuming it does rain, does this terminal have a covered area to get off your shuttle and/or stand in line?  This is the first time at this terminal for us.

It does, but the entrance to the terminal is on the second floor, and the last time we were there in August, they were re-directing everyone down to the first  floor of the garage because no one was paying any attention to boarding times. That puts you outside the building as you snake around the terminal, and ramp up to the second level gets as slick as glass when it rains, so walk carefully.

Don't trust the forecast on Sunday morning let alone sooner. "Subject to change" is an understatement.

Embarkation at terminal 5 was the worst we have ever experienced after 40 cruises.  NO ONE checked boarding times.  People were all in one line and joyfully expressing being able to board an hour and a half early.  We have a March cruise which will likely be at terminal 5.  If so, we will cancel.  Over an hour standing and waiting while late boarders go ahead of us is a no go.  Come on Royal, our February cruise had different time lines as did our Augusr 2021 Celebrity cruise.  So much for not arriving early!!!  I was told that one elderly man almost passed out and the Royal employee pretty much said “not my job”.  The couple found a nurse who got help.
