Volendam what’s new?

Anymore no any news?   We are on her in November for Amazon!

Her last dry-dock was Feb '22, but then she spent the spring ? and summer housing Ukrainian refugees. I forget the exact dates. I think the ship is released from that commitment. Someone had posted they were booked later in September I believe.

I think the end of that charter is sept 14/22.  We shall see.

The charter ended last Friday, but Volendam has not left Rotterdam yet. She is due in Trieste on the 24th for her first cruise with passengers.

I thought I’d heard someone say that but this carnival press release says the 14th

The press release I saw when the charter was extended said the 9th, I never saw this. I stand corrected.

I hope there will be news soon for those that have a cruise planned soon.

Volendam is leaving Rotterdam as I type.

That is great news for those that are booked on that ship.  I really doubted it would happen so I’m happy to be wrong on this.

Indeed ms Volendam left Rotterdam today and is on her way to Malaga, Spain.
