Nice hotel!!

Dinner last night was Deanie’s in the French quarter.

They put these potatoes on the tables. They get boiled

with the crab.

my go to here is the stuffed shrimp. They’re stuffed with crabmeat. Cole slaw is good as well. I never ever get to the fries.

I also got a side of the crab meat au gratin. I totally didn’t need this but I’ve been craving it for awhile.

They have these old belt fans that go all the way around the restaurant

In the hotel I saw a sign that said historic bar second floor so I went to see what that was all about.

Oh back at the restaurant is the crawfish quartet across the way.

I am in search of king cake by the slice. PJs is supposed to have them but they don’t. Willa Jean is supposed to have them but they don’t. It is early in the season.

It is disappointing that company burger is no longer downtown..but kind of cool that district donuts took their spot.

District makes a king cake but doesn’t sell by the slice. They do have a king cake donut though.

Laundry is at the end of the hallway. Looks like the laundry is free. They also have a microwave in there.

Behind the elevators is a door that takes you to the event center and stairs down to the lobby.

Yes. And it seems to be under booked. I haven’t seen very many other guests. Probably why I’m here. I go with the good prices mostly.

These pictures bring up a question I have. Do New Orleans Streetcars have a dedicated route, point A to point B? Or can you get on one and ride around for awhile like a Hop on Hop off bus tour on cruise excursions?
