No they don't. You boil water in a kettle. You make tea in a tea pot. Totally different. Making tea in a kettle is totally wrong, and will ruin the kettle for the next person who might want hot water to make coffee.

Interesting... on a TA in the opposite direction, Southampton to FLL, we had the kettle.

We just had mugs ! You must have been in the posh seats! 😁
