Diamond Lounge and drink coupons

We've been cruising mainly Princess for a few years (pre-covid) but in November we'll be on our first RCI ship in almost 3 years. The last time we cruised RCI we were able to take advantage of our Diamond status and had a few drinks in the lounge and used our drink coupons for outside the lounge. Have they changed this to where you can only use your coupons in the Diamond Lounge? I'm a bit confused on how this works now.

Diamond vouchers can be used at any venue (except Bionic Bar and Starbucks [Oasis class] kiosk/storefront) at any time.  Vouchers must now be used for drinks in the Diamond lounge.  Vouchers are valid for drinks up to $13 (higher drinks are charged the difference).

You will still get C&A coupons for things like 50% off a glass of wine/beer, that are not the same thing as the voucher. There is no longer a free happy hour in the DL other than appetizers — any drinks you order during the happy hour will either be using a voucher or charged to your account.

Back then you had 3 vouchers and they could only be used during the hours the lounge was open.

 

Now you get 4 vouchers that can be used anytime.  Yes drinks in the lounge you must use a voucher for.

The vouchers can also be used on the private islands.

Offers loaded to your SeaPass card (they used to be physical coupons).  The offers will be listed on the Concierge's welcome letter than you receive in your cabin.
