sad549s Posted October 9, 2022 #1 Share Posted October 9, 2022 Will Carnival let you carry any liquor purchased from the fun shops on the last night back to your room with you or are you required to pick it up the morning or debarkation? Rare starstruck05 Posted October 9, 2022 #2 Share Posted October 9, 2022 It depends on the ship and the individual cruise.
Purvis1231 Posted October 9, 2022 #3 Share Posted October 9, 2022 10 years ago, you could take it back to your room but I am not sure about today.

I can’t remember the exact time (maybe 6-7pm) but I remember waiting until then to purchase so I could take it immediately.
mz-s Posted October 9, 2022 #6 Share Posted October 9, 2022 It varies from cruise to cruise actually. On the Sunshine, earlier this year my purchases were delivered to my room on the last night. Two weeks ago purchases had to be picked up from the library on debarkation morning.
Schoifmom Posted October 10, 2022 #7 Share Posted October 10, 2022 Technically, it depends on the length of your cruise. Shorter cruises (5 days or less) require you to pick up your purchase on debarkation morning. It is up to them whether they allow you to take your purchases the last evening back to your room to avoid that. On longer cruises they deliver to your stateroom the last evening, so you will be able to take all purchases made that last evening with you (after the cut-off time, but I don't know that that is). skywalkr2 Posted October 10, 2022 #8 Share Posted October 10, 2022 On this topic I was recently on Carnival, and the alcohol costs were not very good. I could find similar prices back at home.

There are brands, like Hennessy Pure White, which aren't available in the US, so those are worth it. And for certain higher end whiskies like Johnny Walker Blue there can be a small savings.
