Today, we spent a great day in Florence and visited the Duomo. It was very warm for the time of year, 82 f.  Definitely shorts weather.

We had lunch at Il Pesce at the upstairs food court in the Central Market.  This is a very high quality location with many food and beverage options.  We highly recommend Il Pesce for great seafood options!

We had an excellent meal at the Crown grill last night, with very good service even though we had a large table of 8.

Apparently the cut off for the MTP luncheon is just over 300 days.

Corfu Greece tomorrow.

Going to watch sailing out of kotor from the wakeview bar area prior to dinner.

Very few chairhogs it seems around main pools, and very attentive drink service. Next week we will try the retreat pool

All is well

Our arrival in Kotor this morning

Hoping for good weather on the 28th or the 11th.  God willing and the creek don't rise (and our legs hold out) we are planning on trying to walk up the steps on the hill.

Confused...where is the Wakeview Bar?  I couldn't find it on the deck plans.  I'm interested because Phil and I always take a bottle of wine out to the bar at the back of the ship on the last port to say goodbye to dry land for the sea days of the transatlantic.  🙂

Maybe not the correct name on this particular ship but it is the open deck area on 16 aft of the buffet.

In November of 2019, we met the owner of the Uccelliera winery in Montalcino at the James Suckling "Top 100 Wines of Italy" event in LA.  We were originally going to visit the winery in 2020.  We all know what happened to 2020.

Today we finally met with Andrea and his lovely wife, Paola, at their winery.  After 4 hours of tasting thru 6 years of Brunello di Montalcino vintages, they made us feel like family.   Such lovely people and great wines!
