Port Everglades closed

It's been windy since Friday. We, in all honesty, did not know that there was a "sub-tropical" storm brewing until lunch time on Monday.

 

If you are sailing out of Jacksonville, I'd worry. Port Canaveral is iffy. Port Everglades or Port Miami should be fine. (If we get washed out to sea, I was wrong.)

You can see Rotterdam and Eurodam cruising north of Cuba. (cruise mapper site)  I was just wondering how lucky some of them must feel to get an extra day or two!  I know I would.

It was a woo! from us… feel bad for those with non-HAL travel, but our biggest gripe would’ve been the taxi back to our car in FLL from another port.

 

Wonder if we get another Mariner ‘point’ for this bonus day at sea?

FLL and MIA airports still open. MCO and PBI are closed or will close soon
