Post-Cruise Rituals

I was just thinking about how we've had a lot of threads about things we do pre-cruise to prep ourselves and make the most of our time cruising, but we haven't talked as much about what some of our post-cruise rituals might be! I know that coming down from  a vacation can be challenging for folks (especially me), and was wondering if anyone had some things they do post-cruise to help with bringing their vacation to an end or remembering their time onboard. Things you or your family do (does) on debarkation day counts, too!

The day after we get home I put together a meal with the best app, entree and dessert we had on the cruise.  I was a chef and enjoy trying to recreate the dishes from memory and taste(no recipes).

That sounds incredible! And what a great way to remind yourself of the memories made. What's your success rate? I'm sure you've been able to improve on some of their recipes.

We make sure to book our next cruise while we are still on board. 

We have also been giving ourselves a day or two in the cruise port city to avoid rushing back. Trying to stay in cruise mode a little longer.

We always get home around 5pm, so we call for a pizza delivery, always an extra-large so we have three days of food in case we can't get to the store right away.

While we wait for the delivery, we try to guess how many emails will be waiting for us, then log on and find out and start reading any important ones.

Unpacking, and laundry, will be done when we feel like it.

Start going through the photos taken in order to make a travel book of the trip.  We've started doing that for our last three cruises.
