WindinmySails Posted November 15, 2022 #1 Share Posted November 15, 2022 We usually use our 2 specialty dining dinners at Cagney's and LeBistro, but are thinking of trying Pincho's instead. Does anyone have any insight? or recommendations as to what is good to order. How is it done though it is Tapas? Will we want a meal after wards, (lol). Rare BirdTravels Posted November 15, 2022 #2 Share Posted November 15, 2022 The SDP credit is good for 4 items. If there are two of you, you can use 1 person's credit (4 small plates) or both person's credit (8 small plates). Works the same way at Food Republic. Personally, we think that Pincho has the best food on the ship. And we usually use our SDP credits there for lunch on a sea day.
weltek Posted November 15, 2022 #3 Share Posted November 15, 2022 However you pay for it, just make sure to go! One of our very favorites, fleetwide.
weltek Posted November 16, 2022 #4 Share Posted November 16, 2022 Oh, and we really liked the bacon wrapped dates, and everything we had under the plancha menu (chorizo, squid, scallops, iberico secreto), plus of course the hams and cheeses. The first time we planned to stop for an appetizer and wine, pre-MDR dinner, but just kept ordering and skipped the MDR dinner. We stopped another night just for a small plate, and then second time on the Escape, we stopped a few times for a small plate and wine.

coasterbrad Posted November 18, 2022 #6 Share Posted November 18, 2022 The bacon-wrapped dates and the pork belly were two of my favorite dishes I had on the ship. Absolutely fantastic, and a great value. We used one SDP meal for a dinner then went back twice for lunch and just paid for a few dishes with onboard credit. schmoopie17 Posted November 18, 2022 #8 Share Posted November 18, 2022 You won't have any trouble getting a seat. We just got home yesterday after being on the Escape for 16 days and only one time did we see anybody there. And that was a group of four.
Erekosse Posted November 18, 2022 #9 Share Posted November 18, 2022 Here's the sample menu currently posted by NCL: https://www.ncl.com/sites/default/files/Pincho_Tapas_Bar_Mobile-Menu.pdf I'm looking forward to trying it in a few weeks when we are on the Escape. jcollin Posted November 18, 2022 #10 Share Posted November 18, 2022 Thanks, we are looking forward to eating there as well. Too bad we have to wait until March.

About 2.5x the price for a lot of those dishes now. Still worth it.

Now that the SDP fully covers, the a la carte people are making up the difference. 😊

So could you eat my 4 small plates one day and my wife's 4 small plates another day under the SDP credit?
