My verdict on Freddy's Speakeasy is that it's a decent place to come and have a couple of drinks, but probably not something I would do by myself again... It just feels weird being in a place so small where everyone has already shown up with their party, and then there was me... Not that I'm uncomfortable at all doing stuff on my own. I just had dinner at a Michelin Star restaurant by myself for Pete's sake...

Pretty expensive adventure here on my first official day on vacation... Between lunch, dinner, drinks, after dinner drinks, tips, and Ubers, I'm into it for well over four hundred bucks... That's almost as much as my entire Cheers beverage package for the week. What's the saying? "You can't take it with you"... In my case, most of it will end up in the sewer system by morning...

Here's the giant ballroom you go through to get to Freddy's... When I asked the front desk about this place earlier, he genuinely had no idea that this place even existed. Another one of the clerks overheard me asking about it and told me where the meeting spot was...

Today's artsy and architectural pics, plus the awesome food porn were really awesome.  I do a day like that on each vacation, usually.  Years later, these days are still memorable while the rest of the vacation needs a photo tour to bring it back to enjoyable memory.

We just had our first sideways cabin on Sunshine this year. I hope yours is the same because ours was huge and really comfortable! Have a great trip, I'll be following along!

I slept pretty well last night, considering that it was "cruise day eve"... There's no clock in my hotel room, so I just slept until it started to get light out, then rolled over and went another hour. I figured that I had a long day yesterday, and another today, so... It only took me one try to get the hotel coffee maker to work, so that's good news...

Sid may be sleeping in a bit he really outdid himself in Miami yesterday.  I've had my coffee and patiently awaiting the party to continue!
