8-5 Jacks or Better VP at 25c is not bad, better odds than at many Vegas casinos nowadays.

Unrelated fun fact: I have not been on Prima but I saw it from a distance at the Fincanteri shipyard in Venice this past summer as it was being completed and it looked very impressive.

Wondering if you noticed whether any of the bars served or were able to make espresso martinis? It's one of my favorites while onboard. Have had them in the Haven and also most ships usually have at least one bar that makes them, but I don't see anything obvious on Prima. We sail on Friday.

Thanks, as always, for the great time and effort you put into making your reviews the defacto reference for some of us, better and more thorough than referencing the photos, menus, etc. on NCL's own website.

The Brid heard people ordering them, but don't remember which bar. The Bird avoids them because they exceed $15.

What did you like best?

I think the Indulge Food Hall. More because it is the "new toy" that everyone wants to go and try it. We've been there around a half dozen times between our two cruises on the Prima. The food was infinitely better than The Local. We have always disliked the food at O'Sheehan's / The Local and still do after eating lunch there on the Prima.

Good to know. Hopefully we can figure out where. I know they are a few $$ over, but we don't drink them all day so it's worth it to get a few.

We loved the Indulge Food Hall too.

At the Local had the Sausage sliders, and they were great and best of all was the Hot Fudge Sundae. It was soooo good.

Question--I started a thread about dress codes and whether I could just wear tye die t-shirts and jeans in restaurants on NCL. I was told ok, but not all restaurants. Those who answered could not specifally say which restaurants on the Prima required collared shirts. Could you possibly answer that, Thanks in advance.

For anyone else interested in the answer, Bird Travels answered it in the original thread Palomar and Le Bistro.

Per my response on your thread, Le Bistro and Palomar are the two restaurants on the Prima that ask gents to wear long pants (jeans and dockers are fine) and a collared shirt. People tended to be a bit more foresees up in Hudson’s, but it is not “required”.

Oh no, DW needs tv to fall asleep, and there is not HGTV or any of the Hallmark channels. 🤦‍♂️

We'll be on in the summer. I wonder if the sports 24 will have baseball.

Do you know if they have close captioning? (I cannot hear at the volume dW wants, and she can't stand the volume I need. at home we watch different tvs even when we end up with the same show watched.)

That's a big fat NO on baseball.  Yes, on closed captioning, at least on the prior ships I've sailed.  Can't imagine Prima would be different in that regard.

Glad they will have closed captioning. DW needs "dumb" tv to fall asleep. I cannot hear the tv at the sound level she plays it on. She gets a headache at the sound level I play it on. Closed captioning solves that as I do not have to hear what is being said.

Never noticed the "free" movies listed month the pay ones.  Bird, do you happen to know if they give the schedule as well?

Someone recently suggested asking at Guest Svcs for the schedule.  Otherwise catching a free movie TV  from the start is really hit or miss.

Thanks!
