Flight change from Tampa.

They just changed our 2pm flight to 11:50am, have never flown out

of TPA after cruise do you think we will still be ok?

We have flown out of TPA three times after cruises and never had an issue with being able to make a flight at that time. There is one thing to be aware of when cruising out of Tampa. Sometimes there is  fog that delays docking for hours and even a late afternoon flight might be too early if that happens.

We arrived into the port of Tampa this past October...used one of the $10.00 pp shuttles and would have had no trouble making this flight time. We did self assist off our RCI ship. We were very sorry our flight wasn't until 2:00pm and had to spend this much time at TPA.

Ashland, is there an designated area for that shuttle or do you pre-pay?

Did you notice if they had plenty of taxis?  We will do self check-out. It's

a direct flight to Boston so we want to keep it. (no others)

We did self assist and just as we walked out of the terminal there were people holding signs for shuttle service to TPA you can't miss them. No pre-pay and absolutely not necessary. It was $10.00pp cash. They loaded our luggage and we hopped on. They had several shuttles and ours filled up quickly (first in line) less than 10 min we were on our way. This couldn't have been quicker or easier. We did see a taxi line but this seemed like it would be just as easy..and felt we made the right decision.

Taxi to TPA should be about $25+tip. The ride from Port to airport takes about 15+ minutes

Oh..then we made the right decision to use the shuttle. Thanks for the info on Taxi cost.

Someone from the TA last month reported a $45 charge. Not sure if that's because the taxi was a minivan, but the charge may have increased.

That seems excessive, thank you I will double check cost with whom we pick.
